 I have written and published two books:

• Yard Wine: It's a Neighborly Thing about the power of the Rossmoor, CA community.  You can find this book on Amazon and read a sample here. 
  
  
• The Dream Train: A Family Bedtime Tradition is a story about how to get children to sleep by their bedtime. I wrote this children's picture book when my own two kids were toddlers, and I couldn't get them to bed on time. This story solved all our problems, at bedtime anyway, and I wanted to share the story with other parents who found themselves in similar struggles night after night.  I have been serving on the Rossmoor Homeowners Association Board of Directors since 2015. 

One of my responsibilities is the design and writing of our quarterly publication that is mailed to over 4000 residents and local businesses, including the following regular articles:

Newspaper Guest Columnist

In 2012 and 2016, I ran for the local school board. In between campaigns, I was approached by a local newspaper, The News Enterprise, to write a weekly guest column., as I was considered the local educational expert.
